| Characteristics | Founded in the Ansei era (late Edo period), during the Taisho era, the red brick storehouse, which allowed for storage management from the sake brewery, and a 20-meter-tall hexagonal chimney, which is rare in Japan, were constructed. In 2007, the company was registered as a national tangible cultural property in recognition of its valuable construction methods and historical and cultural value. With business succession, the company has restarted, and since 2025, young brewers have been working hard on sake brewing based on hand-made methods. |
